In the after-life, they are trapped in their former New England house. Only a few days later, the house is sold to an out-of-state couple who decides to remodel their home with fancy new art. They consult with their after-life “case worker” who tells them that it is up to them to scare the family out if they want them to leave. The families daughter is the only one in the house who can see the former couples ghosts, and is more amused than frightened by their attempts to scare them. The couple decides to hire another ghost who specializes in scaring people named Beetlejuice who is summoned when his name is said 3 times. This day in 1996, (09/08/96) Rapper Tupac Shakur was mortally wounded during a shooting in Las Vegas. After attending the Mike Tyson/Bruce Seldon fight at the MGM Grand, Tupac and his crew were involved in an altercation in the casino. A few hours later, while on the way to the club with Suge Knight a car pulled up Suge’s BMW and performed a drive-by shooting. Police and Medical assistance arrived on the scene within a few minutes and took Tupac to the hospital, where he was in critical condition. Five days later, Tupac Shakur was pronounced dead. Tupac has been noted by many artists and fans alike as the most influential rapper ever. Tupac’s legacy lives on through his music, friends, family, and charity funds set up by his mother.
Bryant and then-teammate Shaquille O’Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. In 2008, he won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics as a member of the USA national team. Bryant was named NBA player of the decade by TNT and Sporting News.
Two men awaken at opposite ends of a grimy, disused bathroom, one in a water-filled bathtub. Both men are chained at the ankle to the pipes. Between them lies a corpse lying in a pool of blood, which appears to have shot himself in the head. He holds a revolver and a micro cassette recorder. They discover tapes in their pockets; the men learn from both tapes that one must escape the bathroom, while the other must kill the escapee before six o’clock, or he’ll lose his wife and daughter and be left to die. They find a bag containing two hacksaws, though neither is able to cut through the chains. Stuck, forever.

Vacant area, Open skies, thousands of miles, and one surprise… Trying to explain what Burning Man is to someone who has never been to the event is a bit like trying to explain what a particular color looks like to someone who is blind.
Burning Man is a week-long event that inspires people from all over the world to come and celebrate creativity and self-expression. The Desert floor or “playa” is converted into a city of sorts with a theme. The annual event began as a bonfire ritual on the summer solstice in 1986 when Larry Harvey, Jerry James, and a few friends met on Baker Beach in San Francisco and burned a 9-foot (2.7-meter) wooden man as well as a smaller wooden dog. Harvey has described his inspiration for burning these effigy figures as a spontaneous act of radical self-expression.
“While some artists have never questioned the current marginal and passive status of art and are content to work within the reservation called the ‘art world,’ others have made conscious attempts over the last decade to combat the relentless commodification of their products and to reenter the ‘outside world.’ In the late ’60s, after a period in which most avant-garde art was drastically divorced from social subjects or effects, many artists became disgusted with the star system and the narrowness of formal ‘movements.’ They began to ask themselves larger questions. When they looked up from their canvas and steel, they saw politics, nature, history and myth out there.”

At one point he quit bounty hunting, married and had a son, and took up farming, though it did not last.
Hex’s facial injuries can be traced back to being sold into slavery by his father to some Apache for safe passage. Jonah eventually saved the chief from being killed by a mountain lion and was made an honorary member of the tribe. He was soon betrayed by the envious son of the chief while on a raid. He returned years later to challenge him in a sacred tomahawk battle, but the chief’s son sabotaged Jonah’s tomahawk. Jonah used his knife in self-defense when the tomahawk broke. The tribe saw this as breaking the rules of the sacred battle and sentenced Jonah to wear the mark of the demon by pressing a searing hot tomahawk to his face. They said his honorary relationship to the chief was the only thing that saved him from death.
