If you haven’t heard by now, James Cameron’s Avatar is one of greatest movies of 2009/2010. Marine Jake Sully decides to take part in a deep space mission after his brother is killed during a robbery. Jake learns of greedy corporate figureheads intentions of driving off the native “Na’vi” in order to mine for the precious material embedded throughout their land. Honoring an agreement, Jake gathers Intel for the cooperating military unit led by Colonel Quaritch in exchange for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs. While attempting to infiltrate the Na’vi people with the use of an “avatar” identity, Jake begins to bond with the natives and falls in love with one of the beautiful native aliens, Neytiri. While the Colonel plans his ruthless extermination, Jake is forced to take a stand and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora.

Where’s Waldo? is a series of books created by British illustrator Martin Handford. The concept is simple, find Waldo in the middle of any given location inside a large group of people who are all in the middle of some type of funny and wacky scene. Waldo is best known for his red and white striped t-shirt, beanie, and glasses. The real challenge is finding him while weeding out all the other characters dressed in similar attire. The first book in the series, titled Where’s Wally?, was published in 1987. As the books became popular, the name Wally was changed for different regions. Waldo has grown to minor celebrity status over the years since his first appearance and offers a greater challenge with his hidden pals Wenda, Woof, Wizard Whitebeard and his arch nemesis Odlaw. Over the past 20+ years Waldo has had more than 28 different countries searching for him.

Our staff is so excited about the November 19th release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 – we’re as giddy as popular school girls on the first day of 7th grade! (Sam even began laying out his outfits and wand!) Our gang is taking advantage of our amazing Harry Potter group costumes, including the Hermione Halloween Costume, the Dumbledore Halloween Costume, the Dementors Halloween Costumes and of course, Mr. Harry Potter himself. Though, since we can’t decide who gets to be he who survived, you might see a few “they who surviveds” huddled in line at 11:59 PM, November 18, 2010.
In the first half of the final chapter of the Harry Potter series, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) leave Hogwarts and go off on a quest to destroy the Horcruxes, which hold Voldemort’s power and immortality. In 3D, no less! Comes out November 19.

Lady Gaga recently revealed her intense desire to stay healthy with her demanding worldwide concert schedule. Since fainting during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Gaga has become a stickler for maintaining a healthy routine, according to her choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson.
The pop superstar stays healthy by watching what she puts on her plate. ”It’s all about salsa with grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water,” says the choreographer, who is nominated for two MTV VMAs for Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” videos.

On last week’s Jersey Shore, Sammi finds Snooki and Jenni’s “anonymous” letter, and this time it’s really over with Ronnie — at least for now.
