If you haven’t heard by now, James Cameron’s Avatar is one of greatest movies of 2009/2010. Marine Jake Sully decides to take part in a deep space mission after his brother is killed during a robbery. Jake learns of greedy corporate figureheads intentions of driving off the native “Na’vi” in order to mine for the precious material embedded throughout their land. Honoring an agreement, Jake gathers Intel for the cooperating military unit led by Colonel Quaritch in exchange for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs. While attempting to infiltrate the Na’vi people with the use of an “avatar” identity, Jake begins to bond with the natives and falls in love with one of the beautiful native aliens, Neytiri. While the Colonel plans his ruthless extermination, Jake is forced to take a stand and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora.

Where’s Waldo? is a series of books created by British illustrator Martin Handford. The concept is simple, find Waldo in the middle of any given location inside a large group of people who are all in the middle of some type of funny and wacky scene. Waldo is best known for his red and white striped t-shirt, beanie, and glasses. The real challenge is finding him while weeding out all the other characters dressed in similar attire. The first book in the series, titled Where’s Wally?, was published in 1987. As the books became popular, the name Wally was changed for different regions. Waldo has grown to minor celebrity status over the years since his first appearance and offers a greater challenge with his hidden pals Wenda, Woof, Wizard Whitebeard and his arch nemesis Odlaw. Our staff is so excited about the November 19th release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 – we’re as giddy as popular school girls on the first day of 7th grade! (Sam even began laying out his outfits and wand!) Our gang is taking advantage of our amazing Harry Potter group costumes, including the Hermione Halloween Costume, the Dumbledore Halloween Costume, the Dementors Halloween Costumes and of course, Mr. Harry Potter himself. Lady Gaga recently revealed her intense desire to stay healthy with her demanding worldwide concert schedule. Since fainting during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Gaga has become a stickler for maintaining a healthy routine, according to her choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson.
The pop superstar stays healthy by watching what she puts on her plate. ”It’s all about salsa with grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water,” says the choreographer, who is nominated for two MTV VMAs for Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” videos.

On last week’s Jersey Shore, Sammi finds Snooki and Jenni’s “anonymous” letter, and this time it’s really over with Ronnie — at least for now. Meanwhile, Mike, Vinny and Pauly D (“MVP”) have their hands full juggling four girls in one night. What’s on tap for tomorrow night? Is it really over between Sammi and Ronnie, or is this just another one of Sammi’s ploys to up ratings for the uber popular reality shows?

Who can forget him in the holiday film we all know and love, Home Alone? Best known for portraying Kevin McCallister in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Macaulay Culkin was, at the height of his fame he was regarded as the most successful child actor since Shirley Temple. He was also considered one of the late entertainer Michael Jackson’s best friends. Culkin began acting at the age of four. Early roles saw him appearing in a stage production of Bach Babies at the New York Philharmonic. He continued appearing in roles on stage, television, and in films throughout the 1980s. Notable parts in this period included an episode of the popular action series The Equalizer in which he played the victim of a kidnapping, and also in the TV movie The Midnight Hour. He also appeared in the movie Uncle Buck in which his character probed John Candy’s title character over his background on the basis that “I’m a kid – that’s my job”.

Based on the rise and fall of infamous New York party promoter Michael Alig. The movie stars Macaulay Culkin as the drug-addled “King of the Club Kids.” The film is based on Disco Bloodbath, the memoir of James St. James which details his friendship with Alig, that later fell apart as Alig’s drug addiction worsened, and ended after he murdered Angel Melendez and went to prison.
